RGB Spectrum recently completed an expansion of its Alameda, CA headquarters, which increased the square footage of the facility to support a significant increase in staff and production. A key feature of the renovation was the addition of a state-of-the-art Demo Room and Training Complex, which have allowed RGB Spectrum to increase the range of services offered to customers and partners.

Demonstrating RGB Spectrum’s Products 24/7

An integral part of the expanded headquarters is a dedicated space in which to demonstrate the capabilities of RGB Spectrum equipment. The new Demo Room serves as a showplace for RGB Spectrum’s solutions and provides visitors with a hands-on interactive experience.

The centerpiece of the Demo Room is our Enterprise MultiPoint® Control Room Management System (Enterprise MCMS), an integration platform that consolidates control of disparate systems under a unified intuitive interface. Featuring a large 3x4 video wall and two operator stations, Enterprise MCMS is configured to work with either an OmniWall™ Display Processor or a MediaWall® Display Processor and Linx™ Matrix Switcher. The ability to showcase the full system in a larger demo room allows presenters to highlight the powerful advantages of the Enterprise MCMS system.

Our expanded product line is also on display in the new Demo Room facility. From the unrivalled clarity of our sensational 4K multiviewer, to the versatility of our matrix switchers, to the powerful streaming and recording capabilities of our codecs, guests can stop by the Demo Room to experience first-hand all that RGB Spectrum’s products have to offer.

In addition, the enhanced functionality of the Demo Room allows remote customers to access the products in the room via webinar or webcam. This allows off-site customers to receive valuable product information, experience a full range of product capabilities, and participate in Q&A sessions.

A New Training Program

The additional of a cutting-edge Training Center has allowed RGB Spectrum to launch a new training program. We now offer comprehensive product training courses for customers, installers, system integrators, dealers and industry consultants. Conducted on a bi-weekly basis, training classes range from introductory level product orientations to detailed installation and configuration instruction. Certification classes are also available.

The training room features a 2x2 video wall connected to a MediaWall 2900 processor and Linx switcher. Other equipment can be rotated into the room as required. Instructors can move between the Training Center and the Demo Room to provide trainees with in-depth installation, operation and service instruction, hands-on interaction with the equipment and more detailed product demonstrations.
